Alice S. Oh, O.D. – Consultative Optometrist
Dr. Oh is a native of the Washington, D.C. area, growing up in Gaithersburg, MD. She pursued her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University in Environmental Studies. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2002 at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She continued her training with an accredited residency program in the therapeutic management of eye diseases with some of the leading ophthalmologists in the country at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Bel Air, Maryland. This type of specialized training is achieved by less than 20 percent of all optometrists.
Dr. Oh provides comprehensive family eye care, contact lens fittings, and co-management of cataract and LASIK surgeries. She is also sensitive to the special needs of diabetics since her mother has diabetes and diabetic retinopathy.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association. She is also currently on the board of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society. She has completed licensing requirements and received certification to practice from the National Board of Optometry, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland.
