Will LASIK and Water Sports Mix?

Do LASIK and water sports mix?  Absolutely.

If you are having LASIK surgery, you can still engage in water sports after your recovery period is over, say the experts at NewView Eye Center in Reston.  

While most activities can be resumed within days after LASIK, some activities take weeks, like swimming and racquet sports.  High impact sports, including water sports like water skiing or high impact water sports, should be withheld for about a month or until your doctor releases you to resume these activities.
